High-tech Web Agency Adds New Hires in Central Indiana
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind (May 12, 2009) - A central Indiana Web site design company has hired two additional people and promoted three others to full time positions this month, bringing their total amount of employees to 10, a 500 percent increase from their size just over a year ago.
The economy has not necessarily been a factor for Stormfront Productions, who have seen a boost in both their amount of clients and number of employees over the last several months. Robert Theodorow, chief executive officer, attributes the spike in sales to a quality team and a strong presence on the web.
The two new hires are working for Stormfront through their internship program. Trisha Steele is in her first major internship working as a graphic designer while Rich Carl joins the team as an applications developer.
Three other part time employees hired by the Web design company this past year graduated from nearby Purdue University and have since started full time positions. Michael Frick is continuing his role as the company’s network engineer and lead application developer, Aaron VanSchyndel is now the creative director for media and Thomas Miller is the director of online marketing.
Theodorow said the company plans to continue their expansion and work to bring more high tech jobs to central Indiana.
"Thirteen months ago Stormfront had two people and a two-room office. Currently, we are up to 10 employees and occupy an entire three story facility," said Theodorow. "We love the growth and how the community has supported us. Hopefully we can continue to hire even more high-tech employees in the near future."
