Media Company Bleeds Black & Gold

The Purdue Exponent (May 14, 2008) - A local Lafayette business bleeds black and gold by hiring two new Boilermakers.
Stormfront Productions is an online media consulting company dealing with custom Web site design, print marketing and graphic design, flash and multimedia, Web site hosting and Internet marketing.
The company, founded by Robert Theodorow, has a total of five employees, all of which are Purdue students or Purdue alumni. "All but one of the employees are or were computer graphics and design majors," said Theodorow.
Theodorow knows his employees are top of the line. "Being a Purdue alum, I know the program and know that they will be prepared."
The company posted a position on the computer graphics list server and received 80 to 90 resumes.
One of Stormfront's newest interns is Aaron VanSchyndel, a senior in the College of Technology. VanSchyndel's resume stuck out to Theodorow because of all of his experience in the field.
"I interned in L.A. for a graphic design company last summer and did work for a wide variety of companies like ABC and Disney."
VanSchyndel is trying to get into more of a Web design specialty. He liked Stormfront Productions because it's local and it's small, so he could get more experience and hands-on training. He is the multimedia specialist for the company.
"It's a perfect little fit."
Thomas Miller, a fifth-year senior in the College of Liberal Arts, is also a new hire for Stormfront Productions.
Theodorow was impressed with Miller because of his experience with small startups and with bringing their production to national levels. He had also obtained experience with marketing and communications when he started a clothing company with his friends.
Miller is the associate director of marketing and communications. He deals with press releases, marketing initiatives and getting new clients.
"I liked the atmosphere, the drive and what the company is trying to do."

"I am a fun, gregarious person and fit in with the company."
