Famer Logistics was founded in October 2006 by Jean-Philippe Termoz. Operations to support clients started in April 2007. They supply numerous facilities across the US with logistics based warehousing and provide the best value integrated logistics solutions in a time sensitive business.
Challenge
Famer Logistics came to us after having gone with another vendor for inventory management. Needless to say, the current solution was not operational, well over the original timeline and costing the company too much money. It was time for a change and Stormfront Productions was up for the task.
Strategy
Our staff developed a 100% custom inventory managements system to meet Famer's exact needs. The software included multiple permission levels with options to search / filter current inventory, view inventory history, create packaging slips, upload incoming freight, view in-transit material, create invoices, look-up PO's and pricing and view invoice history.
Results
The project launched on-time and under the initial budget. Famer was extremely pleased with the outcome and very happy they choose to have the web software custom written to meet all of their needs rather than trying to change business practices to fit within a third-party system. After the initial launch, the project has continued to evolve through multiple phases.
