White House adviser will highlight next Discovery Lecture Series

WEST LAFAYETTE , Ind. — The top White House adviser on science and technology will be the keynote speaker at Purdue University 's Discovery Lecture Series at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, in the North and South Ballrooms of the Purdue Memorial Union.

Under the rubric of the Discovery Series, Purdue University welcomes two noted speakers to campus each year. The speakers have been recognized with a Nobel Prize or similar such honors. Each speaker embodies the spirit of innovation, boldness and interdisciplinary endeavor that characterize Discovery Park. The lecture topics will focus on multiple, interdisciplinary and contemporary aspects of their topics in the fields of Science, Engineering and Technology, and will be accessible to an advanced but non-specialist audience.
