Challenge
ZC-Bats had a great product but needed to boost sales with online distribution. They came to us in need of showcasing the quality and vast customization options for their maple and ash wood baseball bats. ZC-Bats needed a quick, reliable e-commerce solution that would be in place before baseball's 2010 opening day. Stormfront Productions was up to the challenge.
Strategy
Our development team implemented a custom shopping cart solution utilizing an authorize.net payment gateway and a unique front-end design. Unique features include a unique "Build your Bat" online store where customers can choose barrel colors, various handle options and custom engraving to see how their bat will look in real-time as they place the order. Email marketing campaigns were setup and currently drive new customers to the website where they can enter promo codes to receive special deals. Additionally, a shipping calculator was integrated using USPS web services.
Results
The project launched on-time and within budget. Web orders started rolling in within the first week of operation and bats have been selling online ever since.
