Challenge
Constar came to us not only needing a fresh, professional new look for their company but also the need to manage content such as web copy, images, files and more internally. We were up for the challenge.
Strategy
Our development team was ready to implement a custom content management system (CMS) for the new site. A custom build would give the client exactly what they needed without a heavy, third-party system slowing down the edits. Because the system would be custom built, we would be able to develop new buttons specifically for the client to give them the exact functionality they needed.
Results
The project launched on-time and within budget. We provided the client with a complimentary training session for their staff and were able to help get them up and running within an hour. They are now able to login to the CMS system and control the new website.

The system is written in PHP utilizing a MySQL database for storage, CKEditor for its WYSIWYG, and the jQuery JavaScript framework throughout. It is template-driven, allows for page additions, deletions and modifications, and navigation changes/generation. It also features SEO-friendly URLs, site search, and revision tracking. The CMS is always progressing and taking requests from our customers.
