Web / Application Developer – Downtown, Lafayette, IN
Stormfront Productions is seeking a part-time Web / Application Developer for our downtown Lafayette headquarters. Come join our development team for a rewarding career experience in the online media industry.
Responsibilities
· Developing standards-compliant PHP/HTML/CSS websites and applications
· Support ongoing web-based projects (web development, site management, databases, etc.)
· Continually upgrade web sites including: HTML changes, developing new pages and functionality
· Work with clients to gather feedback and implement solutions
Required skills
· Work independently and proactively
· Able to work with Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
· Knowledge of web programming languages, including HTML, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript
· A great eye for overall site development with a focus on user experience
· 1+ year of experience in web development / application development
Pluses
· Experience with JavaScript/AJAX, especially jQuery
· Knowledge of Zend Framework
· Have worked with WordPress, MovableType or similar blogging software
· Prior development work on mobile applications (iPhone, iPad, etc.)
Hourly rate will be based on previous work experience and level of expertise. For Purdue University students interested in the posting, the position may also be available as fulfillment of the CGT 309 Internship Program. You will gain real world experience in a fun and fast paced web environment. We are looking for someone who can come in and contribute from day one.

· Design creative layouts for professional web projects in a variety of industries
· Support ongoing web-based projects (graphic design, brand identity, icons, etc.)
· Continually upgrade web sites including: motion graphics, multimedia and traditional graphic design
· Work with clients to gather feedback and implement solutions
Required skills
· Work independently and proactively
· Able to work with Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
· Knowledge of latest graphics standards for both web and print
· A great eye for overall site design with a focus on user experience
· 1+ year of experience in web design, graphic design or multimedia
Pluses
· Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, etc.)
· Have worked with WordPress, MovableType or similar blogging software
· Knowledge of multimedia applications including Flash, HTML5 or 3D rendering software
