Last night, our staff and I had the pleasure of attending our first Addy Awards through the American Advertising Federation. The banquet was great and we all had a blast! Best of all, we won our first Addy for the work we did on the Hawaiian Hut website which fell under the interactive media > business to consumer category. Stormfront took home the gold, so we will now be entered into the disctrict competition level. I'm excited to see how far this site will take us.
The Addy Awards are the world's largest and arguably toughest advertising competition with over 60,000 entries annually. The Addy Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world. It is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry.
The American Advertising Federation-North Central Indiana recognized the 2008 accomplishments of Greater Lafayette's marketing and advertising professionals by handing out 14 Gold ADDYs and 21 Silver ADDYs.
