Now Hiring!

Web Designers and Developersin the Lafayette, West Lafayette and Indianapolis, Indiana areas, what is the best news you could possibly hear today? No, Adobe did not announce a three day grace period to download a fully licensed version of CS3 (although that would be pretty sweet). The breaking news is that Stormfront Productions, your favorite online media development agency, is hiring! Due to our ever increasing list of highly reputable clients, we are looking for an experienced designer / developer to join our team.
Experience doesn't mean you need to have 5 + years professionally working in PHP, MySQL, Adobe Photoshop or InDesign, XML, Javascript etc, etc (although those aren't bad resume builders), but it does mean you need to have solid background and understanding in several of those or similar fields. In other words, if you have completed your first 3 years of Purdue's CGT department you may be a viable candidate. We also offer paid internships if that is more up your alley.

In order to prepare you for the application process, I wanted to let you in on a little bit about the company, our work environment and our expectations so that you might be slightly ahead of the curve. Every sweet job takes some finagling to get into, and here we aren't much different. We want the best, and more than that we want you to fit in with us. The best work environment is a smooth environment.

Here at Stormfront, everyone gets along as if we'd known each other since adolescence. That's because we pride ourselves on always being amiable. We encourage each other in our extracurricular activities and often get together to enjoy some of those mutually. We listen to different types of music which really helps to scare away the mundane by always having a diverse selection of music playing in the background while we work all day. We take occasional company lunches and help and encourage each other on our individual projects. If you would enjoy multiple screens around the office with various music video feeds and / or MLB games, a downtown office above a pub and "team building" exercises in the form of gaming this may be the job for you. Work never gets boring around our office.

If this sounds like your ideal job, please feel free to email me with further questions, but please send all resumes to our careers account. We look forward to receiving your resumes and best of luck to all of you!
